“I have been fortunate enough to work with many residents and much of the business community of Palmetto to address issues that are important to them. Many of you have seen firsthand that your viewpoints are important to me. You’ve seen me get “emotional” supporting a position in which I believe. You know that I believe in doing what is right, and not what is merely “politically correct”.
This website
is part of a campaign to share a vision with you. We need to make choices that distinguish the City of
Palmetto from the other municipalities in our state.
Our challenges are many. Our economy is strained. We have the pressures of growth management and must find creative ways do more with less. My experience in management is a vital asset to our city. Although I have been in public service since high school, I am not one who has long planned to campaign for an elected office. But I love the City of Palmetto and realized that, in looking toward the future, I could best serve by running for mayor. I will continue to share my vision with you as we see each other around town - on the street, in the grocery store, or at church.
I have also provided video of recent City Commission meetings, as a convenient opportunity for people to become more aware of our local government activities.
